My Lens to your eye.....
Welcome and thanks for taking a moment to visit my world. My name is Robb Quinn and I am a photographer that has lived most of my life in Northwest Indiana’s Harbor Country. Living along the southern shore of Lake Michigan has really shaped me as a photographer and as a person. I have spent the last 15 years capturing local sports, news, people and everything that is Harbor Country.
I have been a professional photographer for the last 15 years. I was born and raised in Northwest Indiana/Southwest lower Michigan in an area known as Harbor Country. That has had a tremendous impact on his photography since his very early years. Having had a camera put in my hand when I was 12 years old, I am seldom without one now.
While my true love for photography has been and always will be landscapes and lighthouses, in 2003, I was hired as a part time photographer for two local newspapers and quickly started to be recognized for his outstanding photojournalism images having won several honors in Indiana’s Hoosier Press Association annual awards in the sports, news and feature photography categories.
Currently, I run my own home-based studio. My landscape and weather photography has been featured in textbooks, calendars, and numerous television stations including WGN and The Weather Channel as well as other local displays in Indiana and Michigan. I am a member of Professional Photographers of America, The Indianapolis Professional Photographers Guild, and most recently selected as a member of The Daguerre Club of Indiana. I have also received my Certified Professional Photographer certification in 2018 and have studied under several of America’s leading photographers. I graduated from Indiana University in 1991 and reside in Michigan City with Carla, my wife of 27 years and my 13-year-old daughter Krystani.
This website is a compilation of some of my more exciting images. It is a trip through my camera lens to your eye. Most of these images originate right here in Harbor Country but as you will see, they are certainly not limited to this area. While this collection represents a large offering of my images, it certainly isn’t all-inclusive so if you have something in mind, contact me and I can see what I can find. Also, this page is always a work in progress so please, check back often.
